The new multimedia campaign, spearheaded by a TV ad, centres on the ‘E’ of Farm S.A.F.E. i.e. equipment. In the TV ad, we highlight the issue of not ensuring all round visibility when operating machinery. The commercial runs backwards from the future to the present, and shows how a tragic accident – and its consequences – can be avoided when the farmer stops and thinks safe.
Given that 14 people have died on farms in visibility related incidents in Northern Ireland since 2000, this is a hugely important safety message for the industry and we feel honoured to be involved.
