In response to increasing concerns about sugar and the huge growth of healthier snacking, Forest Feast developed a range of traditional and exotic snacking dried fruits with no added sugars or artificial additives. They asked us to develop packaging for ten contemporary snacking fruits based on a ‘heart healthy’ theme. The products would be packed in quad bags and needed a premium feel to reflect quality provenance.
We developed the name and logo for the range, and created a look and feel that conveyed health, wholesomeness and care. Pack designs featured a clean, white matt background with a cross-section of the fruit in the shape of a heart, produced in a spot varnish for added stand-out on shelf. A prominent ribbon device meant the key message of No Added Sugar was clearly communicated.
The client was delighted with the final outcome and the range has since been extended to include jumbo-sized versions of the packs.
