Challenge: Design and launch a sales campaign in one day
Hot weather meant NI Water had to impose a hosepipe ban in Northern Ireland. Obviously, this affected everyone across the region, so it was big news.
It gave us an idea.
We came up with something that would really add value and cut-through to a client’s sales promotion. But we had to act fast. It would only work while the hosepipe ban was in the news.
We had under 24 hours between brief and the hosepipe ban, but our emergency process was already tailored to NI Water and ready to go. As soon as we got the call (the night before the ban), our team started coordinating the response immediately.
We needed a campaign to change public attitudes to water-use. It meant we had to analyse the audience, identify effective messages, apply a bit of behavioural psychology know-how, and pinpoint the right media channels.
We quickly turned those scamps into polished outdoor and social ads. Those were all signed off and heading out into the world by 4pm the same day. Job done.
