Huge congratulations to Amy Rogers whose advertising skills won her a Genesis-sponsored award at Ulster University.
Genesis sponsors a prize for the highest mark achieved by a first year in the advertising module of UU’s Communication, Advertising and Marketing course.
It’s been a tough year for students but that didn’t stop Amy delivering some first-class work and becoming the very deserving winner of this year’s prize.
Gaining advertising expertise
Amy said, “Although I spent the entirety of my first year at university in my bedroom on Zoom calls, I absolutely loved the course.”
“I especially loved the Advertising and Consumer Behaviour modules, which allowed me to meet a great group of friends, delve into the industry, and gain consumer knowledge”.
“Studying these modules alongside taking part in the PANI advertising programme has given me invaluable insights into the industry I hope to work in in the near future!”
Supporting tomorrow’s advertising stars
It’s great to see talented advertisers emerging from our local universities.
Up-and-coming marketers like Amy will play important roles in our agency and our industry soon, so we love to support and encourage them in any way we can.
Amy added, “To win the Genesis Advertising Prize was unexpected but I am so proud of what I have achieved in such a difficult year, and the prize let me buy an iPad, which will help with my studies next year and allow me to improve on my digital skills.”
Well done Amy and keep up the good work – we can’t wait to see what you do next!
