At the PANI Awards 2022, Genesis collected a total of 35 awards.
That included the prestigious Grand Prix and 11 golds.
It means we won more than half of all agency-focused awards on the night, and more than all the other agencies combined.
And that’s on top of our recent success at the UK Agency Awards, Kinsale Shark Awards and The Drum Roses Awards.
It’s amazing news for our team – but it’s even better for our clients.
Up to 11-times more effective
The latest figures from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) show that creatively-awarded campaigns work much harder and achieve much better results for clients.
In fact, they are 4-times more efficient (IPA 2019).
That same study, undertaken by the renowned Peter Field, goes on to highlight that when your creatively-awarded campaigns are part of a long-term brand-building strategy, they can prove to be up to 11-times more effective!
How does that happen?
In short, the best creative campaigns achieve the best results because their fresh and clever approach lets them stand-out in the noisy, crowded space most advertising inhabits, and therefore they earn themselves more attention.
They also tend to make a stronger emotional connection with audiences, which in turn increases people’s willingness to buy a specific brand or to act in a particular way (for behavioural change campaigns).
Who says what’s creative?
PANI (Publicity Association of Northern Ireland) is one of the longest-running marketing bodies in the UK and the PANI Awards are always eagerly anticipated by our industry.
This year’s judging panel was chaired by Creative Consultant Billy Mawhinney and featured twelve highly experienced and notable advertising industry experts from across the UK.
Faced with a hugely competitive list of entries, the panel’s task was to judge the creative work ‘blind’ (i.e. without knowing who created the ads) and decide which campaigns were worthy of the awards.
Advertising peace of mind for clients
So, for the Genesis clients who saw their campaigns come through that judging process so successfully, getting their name on the trophy is very exciting and rewarding. And reassurance for each of them that the Genesis way of working and our ‘Good Thinking’ philosophy is a proven, reliable route to campaign success and real-world results.
Creative teamwork
We’d like to thank all our clients for working so closely with us and being such excellent partners, collaborators and contributors.
In particular, huge thanks and congratulations go to the clients who were involved in each win at the PANIs.
That includes the Public Health Agency, Fibrus, Hendersons, Department for Infrastructure, HSENI, NI Water, The Executive Office and Tourism NI.
And, of course, thank you to all the team at Genesis for the hard work, talent and creativity that keeps helping us achieve bigger and better things each year.
